This week I tried geometric shapes that were very simple. I got my materials out and got started.

To begin, I traced out a triangle, circle, square, and star.

My hand was a bit shaky, but I concentrated and went slower on all the shapes. The first few were not as good because my concentration wasn’t very good.

This is what my shapes looked like at the end. I also tried to shade in a few of the last ones.

Ultimately, I’m not sure if this was a success or a failure, because it was so simple. However, next time I will:

  1. Begin some real designs in henna that are more complex
  2. Take my time!
  3. Try not to lift the cone to much if you are going to make it connected

I’ll see you next week!
