This week, I tried making hummus. Hummus is very easy, so was excited to make it.

First, I soaked some chickpeas overnight. I then drained it but kept some water to make it smoother.

Then, I squeezed in some lemon juice.

Then, I added in some sesame seed paste and powder.

Next, I added some salt and garlic, then blended it until smooth.

I drizzled some olive oil on top, then stored it in the fridge.

This was creamy and delicious! This would be great for breakfast with some toast of cucumbers. Next time I will:

  1. Add some more lemon juice and salt
  2. Try adding ice- apparently it makes it creamer and fluffier
